Giving
Giving as worship.
We believe giving is an act of worship. For those who call this church home, returning our tithes and offerings to the Lord is a normal and joyful part of following Christ. We give freely, from a heart that has already received far more than it could ever repay. We're not here to pressure anyone or to beg for money. If you're visiting, you're simply our guest; there's no obligation to give, and we're glad you came.
How to give
A giving box at the back.
For now, we keep it simple: there's a giving box at the back of the sanctuary. If the Lord has laid it on your heart to give, you can do so there, quietly, on your way in or out. It's just how we do things in this season, and that may change down the road. Whatever you give, give cheerfully. The Lord loves a cheerful giver.
Where it goes
What your giving supports.
Whatever is given here goes back out to the Lord's work, not to enrich anyone. It helps support:
- Missionary work and the spread of the Gospel.
- Visiting ministries, caring for the ministers who come to preach from this pulpit.
- Our building fund, as we trust the Lord for a permanent home of our own.
In time, as the Lord grows us, we expect that to widen to include a youth ministry and the upkeep of a permanent home. We count every gift a sacred trust, and we want it used faithfully for His Kingdom.
