About

Who we are.

Word of Life Sanctuary is a small Message-believing congregation in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The same folks show up week after week, the children know each other's names, and nobody is in a hurry to leave once the service is over.

Our hope is simple. We want the Word to do its work in us, and to be ready when He comes. Everything else we do flows out of that: the singing, the gathering, the visiting after service.

Brother Bob's testimony

In his own words.

I grew up in a Christian home, but for years I pushed back against the faith I was raised in. Then, around age twenty, something shifted.
— Brother Bob

I was in a revival meeting with Brother Ed Byskal, and when the call went out for those seeking the New Birth, I stood up. Despite the fact that my family didn't see it coming, God had already been dealing with me, and the Word came alive in a way it never had before. I found my Dad's collection of Message sermons and devoured them with a new hunger.

What followed was a genuine Pentecostal encounter. Broken and undone before God, I received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, an experience that changed my life.

A few years later, I met Monica. We were married and eventually settled near Atlanta where we raised four children together. Our two oldest are now married and carrying the faith into their own homes.

My testimony is that Jesus Christ is still the same today as He was when I first met Him (Hebrews 13:8). His Word is still true, and by His Word He is changing and molding us until that final change when He will take us out of here.

Come and see
